Congratulations Sherri Hodies for receiving the first endorsement ever given by the Monroe County Republican Executive Committee. We are proud of all your hard work and look forward to a successful campaign and to see you WIN in November!
Sherri will host a celebratory event on Friday, May 10th following this endorsement. She will feature nationally recognized speaker Captain Seth Keshel. Captain K, as he likes to be called, is a former Army Intelligence Analysis and will provide an in depth analysis of Monroe County elections. All are welcome, seating is limited. Supporting Our Military and Veterans
We owe it to the American people and to those who fight our wars that we remain the strongest military on earth and are prepared to defeat any adversary, foreign or domestic, on land, sea, air, or cyber. We must honor the sacrifice of our military veterans and ensure the government fulfills its commitment to care for their injuries.
Making Government Work for the People
Founding Father and Constitution Framer James Wilson declared that in America, "the people are the masters of government," but that in other countries, "the government is master of the people." We pledge to make government work for the people, rather than the other way around.
Honest Elections and the Right to Vote
Honest elections are the foundation of representative government. We pledge to protect the voting rights of every citizen. We oppose the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact and any other scheme to abolish or distort the procedures of the Electoral College. An unconstitutional effort to impose National Popular Vote is a grave threat to our federal system and virtually guarantees corruption.
